Tea and Scotch with Bradman
In 1995, the author Roland Perry almost miraculously secured an interview with Donald Bradman for a book (The Don) which became a best seller.
I accompanied Roland on that eventful day which lead, for Roland, to a long association with Bradman, and for me, this rare and intimate picture collection with one of Australia’s most revered sporting figures.
The story of that day and the relationship afterwards is about to be published by ABC Books with an official launch and exhibition at Melbourne’s Sunstudios on the 21st November at 6pm.
